When she stopped in at the bookstore the day after Christmas 2012, Megan, now 70 years of age is enjoying the misty coastal day, as shops have things on sale, in full holiday atmosphere. Finding a cookbook she had been looking for, purchased it, and while talking with the woman at the counter before leaving, asked if she could leave her card for graphics design, and wrote a note for the owner; asking, If they ever needed any graphic design or book covers created, she was available freelance. That day, a miracle began unfolding in her life that will take her into age; but she will not know this for about a week. When she left, her heart was light, but she didn't know why, given the fact that she had just lost her job at the Chamber Office a few weeks earlier, and was desperately trying to find work, and yet, she felt a quieting peace. At home, she made a light supper and sat looking at the Christmas tree lights while listening to some carols and perusing the cookbook.
